Data deletion

How to delete your Enaloop account and data, what we delete, what stays, and what to do if you can't sign in.

The short version

  • Delete your account any time: Settings → Delete my account → type "delete".
  • We delete your profile, photo, showcase posts, link-in-bio links, media kit choices, contact details, lists and notes, and disconnect any connected accounts.
  • Messages you sent stay with the people you sent them to, from "Deleted user".
  • Can't sign in? Email privacy@enaloop.com from your account's email address.
  • Backups that still hold your data are overwritten within 30 days.

1.Delete your account in Settings

  1. Sign in and open Settings.
  2. If you want a copy of your data, select Download my data first. We can't recover it afterwards.
  3. Select Delete my account.
  4. Type delete to confirm, then select Delete my account again.

This can't be undone. If you only want a break, pause your profile in your dashboard instead.

2.What we delete

  • Your account, sign-in and settings.
  • Your creator profile, photo and showcase posts. Your profile link stops working, and you're removed from other members' lists.
  • Your link-in-bio links and the choices you made for your media kit. Your link-in-bio page and media kit stop working too.
  • Your contact details and contact settings.
  • Your private lists and campaigns, with their statuses and notes.
  • Your two-step verification settings and backup codes.
  • Your creator profile application, if it was still waiting for review.
  • Your blocks, and the usage events and contact reveals linked to you.
  • Any TikTok or Instagram account you connected, as described below. Connecting accounts isn't available yet.

3.What stays

  • Messages you sent stay with the people you sent them to, from "Deleted user", because the conversation is theirs too. Your name, company and photo no longer show.
  • Reports may be kept in anonymised form, to help keep Enaloop safe.
  • Lists and campaigns you shared with a team stay with the team, and what you added shows as from a former member. If you own a team, make another member the owner first; if you're its only member, the team is deleted too.
  • Backups may hold your data for up to 30 days, until they're overwritten.
  • Copies outside Enaloop, such as lists members exported before you deleted your account, or search engines' copies of your old profile, are beyond our control. Search engines usually update a page when they next visit it.
  • Anything the law requires us to keep, for only as long as it requires.

4.Connected TikTok and Instagram accounts

When you delete your account, or disconnect a platform, we delete the access keys, stats and videos we got from it straight away, and revoke Enaloop's access where the platform lets us.

You can also remove Enaloop in the platform's own settings, in its list of connected apps. When TikTok or Meta tells us you've removed Enaloop, we delete the data we got from that account in the same way. For Instagram, Meta then gives you a confirmation code; quote it if you contact us about the deletion.

5.If you can't sign in

Email privacy@enaloop.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. Include your handle if you have a creator profile. If you've lost access to that address, tell us, and we'll find another way to confirm the account is yours before deleting anything. We'll email you when it's done.

6.How long it takes

  • From Settings: straight away. Your profile disappears from Enaloop and your data is deleted from our live systems at once.
  • By email: within 30 days of confirming the account is yours.
  • Backups: within 30 days, as they're overwritten.
  • Search engines: when they next visit your old profile link.
