Community guidelines

How we keep Enaloop useful and safe for brands and creators: what's welcome, what isn't, and what happens when someone breaks the rules.

Last updated 3 Oct 2026

Working draft. Enaloop is open in early access. A lawyer will review this page before the public launch, so it may change.

The short version

  • Be yourself, show your own work and keep your numbers honest. Our team reviews every creator profile before it's listed.
  • Message people about real collaborations, and take no for an answer.
  • Nobody should ask a creator to pay. Enaloop never charges anyone.
  • Label your ads, including barter and gifted content.
  • Report anything that breaks these rules. An admin reviews every report.

1.Be real

Use your real name or the name you work under, and a photo of you or your brand. If you work for a company or an agency, say so when you message creators. Don't open extra accounts to get around a limit, a block or a ban.

2.Every creator profile is reviewed

Before a creator profile is listed, someone on our team checks that it looks real, follows these guidelines and shows work the creator made. If something needs fixing, we'll say what. You don't need a big following to be approved: content creators, models and presenters who appear in other people's content are welcome.

3.Show your own work

Pin posts you made. If a post lives on a brand's account, it shows as "Made for @brand", so pin it only if you made it and you're allowed to show it. Don't pass off someone else's work, team or results as your own.

4.Keep your numbers honest

Numbers you type in show as "Self-reported" with a date, so keep them true and up to date. Don't buy followers, views or likes. A small, real audience is nothing to hide here: brands can find content creators by their work, not their follower count.

5.Message with respect

  • Write about real collaborations. Say who you are, what you're offering and what you need.
  • Your first message is a request, so make it count, then wait. If someone declines or doesn't reply, let it go.
  • No copy-paste blasts, chain messages or pitches that have nothing to do with working together.
  • Be polite, including when you say no.
  • Be careful with anyone who wants to move the chat to another app straight away.

6.Never ask creators to pay

Nobody should ask a creator to pay to be featured, to apply or to be hired, or for "training" or a "starter kit" before the work begins. Enaloop never charges anyone, and brands must never charge creators. If someone asks you for money, don't pay: report the message and block the sender.

7.Barter fairly

Barter means products, services or experiences instead of a fee. Agree everything in writing first: what the creator gets and what it's worth, what they'll make, by when, and how the content can be used. A product sent without an agreement is a gift, so it doesn't oblige anyone to post. Creators, remember that barter can count as income for tax.

8.Respect contact details

Creators choose who sees their phone, WhatsApp and email. Use them only to talk about working together. Don't add anyone to a mailing list, share their details beyond the people on the project, or keep contacting someone who has said no.

9.Label your ads

If a post is paid for, or made in exchange for products, services or experiences, follow the advertising rules where you and your audience are. Label it clearly, for example with #ad or the platform's paid-partnership label. That goes for barter and gifted content too, and brands shouldn't ask creators to hide it.

10.What isn't allowed

On profiles, in pinned posts and in messages, don't share:

  • Anything illegal, or that promotes illegal goods or services.
  • Hate: attacks on people for who they are, such as their race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, disability or age.
  • Harassment, bullying, threats or unwanted sexual messages.
  • Sexual content or nudity. Anything that sexualises minors is banned outright, and we report it to the authorities.
  • Graphic violence, or content that encourages self-harm.
  • Scams, get-rich-quick or pyramid schemes, and pitches asking members to invest money.
  • Impersonation of a person, a brand or Enaloop.
  • Spam, misleading links, malware or phishing.
  • Someone else's private information, like their home address or phone number, without their permission.

11.Reporting and blocking

  • Report a creator profile, a conversation or a link on a link-in-bio page with its Report option. Choose a reason and add details if you like. An admin reviews every report, and the person isn't told who reported them.
  • Block someone to stop them messaging you or sending requests. You can unblock them in Settings, and unblocking doesn't tell them.
  • Decline a request to say no quietly. They aren't told, and they can't message you again.

If someone is in danger, contact your local emergency services first. For anything else urgent, email safety@enaloop.com.

12.When someone breaks the rules

Depending on how serious it is, we may hide a post or a profile, or suspend or ban the account. Scams, threats and repeated problems lead to a ban. If someone's safety is at risk, or the law requires it, we may contact the authorities. If you think we got a decision wrong, email safety@enaloop.com and we'll take another look. These guidelines are part of our Terms of use.
